Write a message backwards, flip the order of a list, or make upside-down text for a fun post. Emojis stay in one piece.
What this tool does
It turns your text around in five different ways: every letter backwards, the order of the words, each word mirrored on its own, the order of the lines, or upside-down letters you can paste into social media. It treats emojis and accented letters as one piece, so 👍 does not break into strange symbols.
How to use it
Type or paste your text.
Tap one of the five buttons.
Copy the result and paste it into WhatsApp, Instagram or wherever you like.
How to read the result
Backwards: “Hello” becomes “olleH”. Reverse word order: “I love tea” becomes “tea love I”. Mirror each word: “I love tea” becomes “I evol aet”. Reverse line order turns a list upside down (last line first). Upside down uses special look-alike letters — it reads correctly when you turn your phone around.
When it is useful
Fun messages, riddles and party games.
Making a list go from newest to oldest (reverse line order).
Checking if a word is a palindrome (reads the same both ways).
Unique captions for Instagram, TikTok or a nickname.
What it cannot do
Upside-down text uses look-alike symbols. Some fonts or apps may show empty boxes for a few letters.
Screen readers cannot read upside-down text properly, so do not use it for important information.
Right-to-left scripts like Urdu or Arabic may look unusual when reversed.
It does not hide or encrypt anything — anyone can reverse it back.
Privacy: everything runs inside your browser. Your text is not sent to our server and is not saved.
Questions people ask
How do I write backwards?
Type your text and tap “Backwards (all letters)”. Copy the result. That is your text written backwards.
Can I use upside-down text on Instagram or WhatsApp?
Yes. Copy and paste it. It is normal Unicode text, so it works in most apps. A few letters may look slightly different on some phones.
Will emojis break?
No. The tool keeps every emoji and accented letter together as one piece.
How can I check a palindrome?
Reverse the word with “Backwards”. If the result looks the same (ignore capitals), it is a palindrome, like “level” or “Anna”.
Is reversed text a safe way to hide a password?
No. Anyone can reverse it back in a second. Use a real password manager for secrets.
