Typed a whole paragraph with Caps Lock on? Paste it here and fix it with one tap. No sign-up, nothing to install.
What this tool does
It changes the capital and small letters in your text. You pick a style, and the whole text changes at once. The letters and words stay the same; only the case changes. There are also styles for programmers, like camelCase and snake_case, which join the words together.
How to use it
Paste your text into the first box.
Tap a button, for example Title Case.
Check the result in the second box.
Tap Copy result and paste it where you need it.
How to read the result
Title Case makes the first letter of each main word big: “How to Write a Good CV”. Sentence case works like normal writing: only the first word of each sentence (and “I”) is big. camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case work line by line and remove spaces and punctuation, so use them for names of variables, files or links, not for normal text.
When it is useful
You typed with Caps Lock on by mistake.
You need a clean headline for a blog post, YouTube video or email subject.
You copied text from a PDF that is ALL CAPS and hard to read.
You need a file name or URL part like my-new-post.
You write code and need a variable name in camelCase or snake_case.
What it cannot do
It does not know names. “mcdonald” becomes “Mcdonald”, not “McDonald”. Check names and short forms like “USA” or “PDF” yourself.
Title Case uses simple English rules. Style guides (AP, Chicago) differ on small details.
It does not fix spelling or grammar.
German nouns are not capitalised automatically in Sentence case — the tool cannot know which word is a noun.
Privacy: everything runs inside your browser. Your text is not sent to our server and is not saved.
Questions people ask
What is the difference between Title Case and Sentence case?
Title Case makes the first letter of most words capital, like a book title. Sentence case only makes the first word of each sentence capital, like normal writing.
Does it work with German umlauts like ä, ö, ü?
Yes. Letters like ä, ö, ü, é and ñ are changed correctly. Only ß stays as it is in some browsers when you choose UPPERCASE.
Is my text saved anywhere?
No. The tool runs in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server and nothing is stored.
Why did my abbreviation change?
Words like NASA or PDF become Nasa or Pdf in Title or Sentence case, because the tool cannot know they are short forms. Fix them by hand after converting.
What is camelCase used for?
Programmers use it for names in code, for example userName or totalPrice. The first word is small and every next word starts with a capital letter.
