What this tool cannot do

• It cannot open a PDF that needs a password.
• The result is a picture, not text. You cannot select or search the words afterwards. Turning a picture back into text needs OCR, which this tool does not do.
• It cannot make a blurry scan sharp. If the PDF holds a low quality photo, a higher dpi setting only makes a bigger file, not a better one.
• Links, form fields and notes inside the PDF are not kept. Only what you see is drawn.
• A long PDF at 300 dpi can use a lot of memory. On an older phone, convert ten or twenty pages at a time.
• Your original PDF is never changed.

Reading the result

Each page appears below as a small preview with its real pixel size and file size next to it. Those numbers are what you will actually get — the preview is only shown smaller to fit the screen. If a page looks soft, raise the dpi and convert again. If the files are too heavy, lower the dpi rather than the quality; dpi makes a much bigger difference.

What this tool does

Sometimes a picture is more useful than a document. Chat apps show images straight in the conversation, a form may only accept image uploads, and pasting a page into a report is easier as a picture. This tool renders each page and hands it back as an image at the resolution you choose.

How to use it

1. Choose your PDF.
2. Pick the quality — higher means sharper but heavier.
3. Tap Convert.
4. Download each page.

Tips that actually help

• For reading on a screen, medium quality is enough.
• For printing, choose the highest setting.
• Text in the image can no longer be selected or searched.
• If you need one image per page in a chat, send them in order.
