How to read the result

You get the total size before and after, and each photo listed with its own before and after size and its new pixel dimensions. Every photo keeps its shape — a portrait photo stays portrait. Only the longest side is set; the other side follows automatically.

If a photo is already smaller than the size you asked for, it is left at its own size rather than being stretched. Making a small photo bigger cannot bring back detail that was never there.

What this tool cannot do

• It cannot hit an exact file size in KB. This sets pixels, not kilobytes. For a KB limit use the Image Compressor.
• It cannot crop. Every photo keeps its full frame and its shape.
• It cannot fix a sideways photo. Use Rotate & Flip first, then resize.
• It cannot read HEIC files on every phone. If nothing appears, share the photo as JPG first.
• Very large batches depend on your phone's memory. Twenty at a time is comfortable.

What this tool does

Doing one photo at a time is fine for a passport picture, but not for forty holiday photos you want to email, or a batch of product pictures for a shop listing. This tool applies the same maximum size and quality to every photo you select and hands them back one by one, all inside your browser.

How to use it

1. Select all the photos you want to shrink.
2. Set the longest side in pixels — 1600 suits most uses.
3. Set the quality. Eighty is a good balance.
4. Tap Resize all, then download.
